Kitty says “Make your morning count!”
Kitty urges people to go and see & taste the benefits of Fairtrade.
Burnley MP, Kitty Ussher is urging people to visit the Fairtrade coffee mornings taking place during Fairtrade Fortnight which runs from the 26th February – 11th March.
The coffee mornings are being arranged by St John the Baptist Church and Ightenhill Methodist Church to support and raise awareness for Fairtrade and Burnley’s Bid to become a Fairtrade Town.
The coffee mornings will be a fun and relaxed way to both taste Fairtrade products and find out further information on the Fairtrade mark, the UK’s independent guarantee that disadvantaged farmers and workers from poor countries have a better deal.
“I urge all those who are interested or indeed unsure about Fairtrade to visit one of the coffee mornings taking place during Fairtrade Fortnight. Not only will they be a fantastic leisurely way to spend the morning but you will also be able to taste the Fairtrade products and find out information about the Fairtrade Mark. I urge you to come along - make your morning count - support Fairtrade.”
